Parents whose kids say they're moving back in should get a backbone. Why should they sit around and eat your food, watch your TV, use your utilities? So they don't have enuf money for rent. So what...they can do what you did - have a few roommates or live in an attic efficency apartment. In cases like these it's not only the kids who need to grow up but the parents too. Stop raising losers.

For Valentine's Day, I'm expected to give my wife flowers and take her out to an expensive dinner. And she considers it 'her gift to me' that she shaves her legs, paints her nails and wears something slinky to bed. I'm really sick of her attitude that men need to be the ones to spend money on V day and that women just get to sit back and enjoy being pampered.

I have a toxic friend that I can't shake. She posted about how rude the people are in our small town. The same small town people give her money constantly because she cries poor on facebook. STFU

Husband #1 I worked and supportd thru med school. Husband #2 I gave up my career and the money I earned that paid for my car, clothes, recreation, vacations, haircuts because he got chronically sick. I've spent my life in service to husbands. They have never done anything of the same magnitude for me. In the case of #2, not even compensation for the money I gave up by quitting my job. I just do without now. There is no satisfaction in being this kind of wife.

DH was in an open relationship with a woman for 7 yrs. after we met he broke things off with her to be monogamous with me. He still wanted to have a relationship with his ex's daughter bc he was essentially her stepfather. the daughter didnt know the relationship was open and now hates him for leaving her mom. He wants to pay 8k towards the daughters wedding bc he told her he would when he was still with his ex. its been over a year and she still wont speak to him bc shes mad about him leaving her mom but still expects this money. selfish or not i dont want him to give them any money.

Many years ago, my uncle divorced his 2nd wife; they remained friendly. One day, she and her dd from a previous marriage stopped by & they decided to order in lunch. My uncle gave the girl money to go get the food and told her to get lottery tickets with what was left over. He hit for $10 million. His ex-wife sued for half of the winnings - and won.

I love "trash the dress" photo shoots. I think the pictures usually turn out cool. But, I can get over the fact that women are ruining dresses that they could donate for another woman who couldn't afford one to have. I know it's their money to do what they want, but it still just strikes me as incredibly wasteful and selfish.

A cop pulled some people over because they won the lottery and he wanted to ask them for money? Did that really happen? Seems like a cop would lose their job for that!

She prays fervently for our soldiers around the world. Her husband is a Marine. And she takes pride in not paying income taxes on her earnings as a youth coach, babysitter, and whatever. It seems not to have occurred to her that her husband's and all our soldiers lives depend on having the best equipment in the world and it is paid for with money from taxes. What an idiot.
