I work with mostly single moms. I am married and my husband has a good job. I swear, they resent me for it. They seem to think that just because I have a husband, I could just quit work and stay home. Well, yes, I probably could - and do without a lot of things that we enjoy. My kids are teens. There is no reason I should stay home while they are at school all day. I enjoy working and I enjoy the extra money. We aren't rich and it's our decision whether we want to do without the extras or not. I choose not to.

I don't understand teenagers. I'm a high school biology teacher and so I'm around stereotypical beauty, etc., all day long. There is this one particular girl that is super nice, really smart and tries so hard, and is also incredibly beautiful, but doesn't have many friends and is sometimes picked on by a group of girls who aren't really "popular," but think they are wonderful and are just mean. Years ago, I saw one of those girls' dates walk up to her and start talking and dancing with her, so maybe that's why she is so unnecessarily hated by that group. She was crying today over them.

My world is getting smaller and smaller finding less places I want to shop and less things I want to buy...I am only fifty but it is actually kind of nice to simplify. I will end up at a drugstore eventually with one of those teeny tiny carts...

Seventeen Magazine and/or Cosmo has been preparing most of us to pass any personality quiz since our teens...

If I worked at a high school at least I'd get paid for working with teenagers. Where I work I don't get paid for dealing with the teenagers with wrinkles. Bitchy little sods. So over it and they are not even bitching about me!

I think entry level jobs should have a dress code. I get tired of telling newbies that flip flops are not appropriate to wear in a warehouse environment. We don't have a dress code other than 'clothing appropriate to the job' which is too vague for teenagers.

Oh honey, your desperate need for attention has clouded your teeny little brain. Don't you realize that men (bless their hearts) will stare at a pile of shit if its wearing a miniskirt? I don't really care what you wear, frankly I'm amused.

I don't like my job, my supervisor, lack of raises, the cold weather, and my teenager. So there you go.

There is a guy at my husband's company that has no wife and a teenage daughter that he seems way too "close" to. He always has his arm around her or is whispering in her ear. When I was her age I would have been grossed out if my dad acted like that. Something's not right here.
