i'm starting to like my work husband more than my real husband

I'm working on my B.S. in Management. I'm 44 years old and haven't held a "real" job since giving birth to my 21 year old son. So, I've been a SAHM. Okay - so my husband (2nd husband) keeps reminding me that "only 4 more semesters 'til you can get a job, honey!!" I know that he is really proud of me, and I appreciate it, but I reaaaallly do not want to work. I love being a SAHM and feel very pressured by him to do this. Sigh.

Do kids not ride a school bus any more? Every time co-worker's husband has to be out of town, she comes in late to take her kids to school. Getting to be pretty annoying. I may have another kid just to get extra time off! :-)

oh shit. I think the cute guy on the other side of the office has a crush on me. Asked me for a document and when I brought it to him, he had 10 copies on his desk... emails me randomly throughout the day about nothing and calls if I haven't responded within 10 minutes..cute guy, I'm married and adore my husband. Don't make this weird.

I work with a woman that has two kids aged 20 and 22. She's constantly complaining about how irresponsible they are... yet she and her husband still pay for all of their activities, cook their meals, do their laundry and pay for the upkeep on their vehicles... must be nice, I got the "you're an adult now, so you have to act like one" speech as soon as I was 18, along with a swift kick in the ass out the door!

I should not get flack because I took off a weekend or a vacation months or a year in advance. How many times do you change everyone's schedule because your husband decided to go somewhere to do something stupid? F*ck you, I'm doing it right.

said something to coworker about his relationship with one of his staff and how it makes me feel umcomfortable. we are an office of 25 and people are talking. hes a good guy, a trustworthy husband but its weird they are communicating all weekend and in his eyes she can do no wrong and hes already attempting to give her extras (overtime, salary increase, constant private chats) than any other employee. he needs to open his eyes and see the sun doesnt shine out of her butt and he has a team of 5 that gets the work done and not just her. shes nice but its uncomfortable for a lot of us
