Ugh, really SS? You think we are going to get you a $1,000 gift for your birthday? Worse, you think you deserve it as you struggle not to flunk half your classes because of laziness? The thinking processes of selfish teenagers never fail to amuse!

I know so many teenagers that love art and like to think of themselves as artists. A few of them are even going to college for art. But the prob is that their "art" sucks. Like, really bad. I know art can be interpreted and is in the eye of thee beholder, but sometimes, it just sucks.

I was talking with my co-worker about my teenagers and was griping about how annoying teenagers can be (hormones, bickering, having boyfriends/girlfriends, the usual stuff that comes with teens). She got all sanctimonious and said that HER kids will NEVER be annoying when they are teenagers because she is raising them right (they are 3 and 6). I laughed until my stomach hurt and so did the other 2 girls we work with. She needs to hold onto her delusions for as long as she can!

Just saw a news story about dumb teenagers. They're now using TAMPONS (inserted vaginally or rectally if male) soaked in vodka to get a different drunk. They think it won't be on their breath because of that. Ew. Also beer pong enemas. I wasn't that desperate as a teen, wtf is wrong with teens today?

I wish more teenagers who get oops pregnant would be unselfish enough to let those babies be adopted out. I know there are exceptions, but in general those kids are going to end up in poverty and being raised by kids that are in no way ready to be parents.

This is strictly how I feel. Parents never stop being parents, not when their kids turn 18, not if you out live them and definitely not when they decide to make these so called "adult decisions" before they are ready. We can hope and pray all we want but we don't know how are kids will turn out to be. All we can do is teach and guide and when they fall, as long as they are willing, you help them get back up. If you aren't willing then maybe you aren't ready for the responsibility of being a parent. It is sad, I have seen teenagers be better parents than full grown, perfectly capable parents.

Watching Teen Mom has shown me that teenagers are still just children, and that the responsibility of raising a child is well, difficult at best when you are still a child yourself. My DH and I have resolved that if any of our children become parents before they are really ready, we will do whatever it takes so that they can be successful. I would gladly raise my grandchild for 5+ years if it meant that my child could go to college, get a well paying job and support their own family. Mistakes happen, and I would never abandon my child and my grand child over a mistake.

Since I had issues, I didn't BF very long with my daughter or twin boys. They are now the HEALTHIEST teenagers in town! I credit it to them eating dirt! lol
