So Valentines day is almost here. It's sad how crazy or angry people get. My husband and I don't celebrate it cuz we don't feel we need a day to remind us to tell the person we love them or buy gifts. We decide to say I love you or buy gifts just because. Why pay extra on flowers, candy and food. People need to google v day and see why it came. I think it's cute for children but come on society. Why do people get mad cuz there spouse got them shit. Make your own rules

I knew this couple at our last duty station who were always broke a day or two after payday. After hanging around with them more I noticed they would usually buy themselves clothes on payday (expensive brands) and then have no money left for food for their kids (they had 3 under 5). One time they actually asked to borrow 10$ just to feed their kids dinner that night. Oh they also have 2 English bulldogs that they spent an entire tax return on each one to purchase... I wish people were smarter with their money

I love my husband and what we have. But there are times where I am just tired and will buy food instead of cooking. Today I came home after work and just laid it bed. I have to say it felt so good! Yes we are strong but we need to give ourselfs more relax days without feeling bad. Amen

Be thankful in what you are given as a military spouse. My divorce is almost done, I had filled out many apps for jobs, wasnt gettin response, on a whim sunday I filled out a app for the hospital, yesterday I got a call askin me to come in for a interview on wednesday. Im super nervous havent done a interview in years, but the position is a good one as a food assistant, which I help prepare and deliever food to staff, patients, and visitors. Its 1st shift full time with benefits. Next week is my divorce hearing. My life is slowly startin to look up, by summer I should my own place.

Having a great conversation and then ask why I took out money. It was the same amount I always take out on payday to food, gas, etc. You get pissy and only respond to me once after that and then just sign off? Seriously? That's really messed up. Get over whatever attitude you have and then get your ass back on and tell me you love me.

Tryin to do job apps when you haven't worked for four years is really a pain in the ass. Most of my old supervisors no longer work at my old places of employment. Professional references don't have them, either. I used to hav some of my info typed up down to my pay, I think my husband all that away when we separted earlier this year. Hopein I can land this gas station job at least it will be a start, the hours would suck 4am to 10am makin the pizzas and sandwichs for the food counter

Urg finally got home. And the separation pay never got worked out, so I'm now flat broke, I owe my parents for my phone that they put on my bros plan. My truck needs a new battery which is 100. Dad and me managed to scrap out a old car, today to hopefully get some food in the house. Divorce won't be final til next month, I can't apply for jobs or aid til afterwards. Goin to bed in hopes of scrapin somemore tomorrow. to get a new battery.

I cannot stand military wives who sit at home on their butts and do nothing... and their houses are nasty and they get all up in arms that they cant qualify for food stamps and such because their husbands make too much. We are a single income family, dont even get WIC and we pride ourselves in having a clean house and taking care of the children we chose to have. IT is NOT the governments responsibility. Get off you lazy butt and get a job if you want more than what you can afford living off one income. Dont look for a hand out.

I know a wife who is a beachbody rep. She is constantly posting on fb that she is looking for motivated ppl to sign up with her to lose weight... I personally wouldn't sign on with her. She is by far not healthy, always eating fatty fast food, drinking and is pretty obese... If you want to be a trainer then you need to set an example..

I always have dreams my husband is going to find some skinny supermodel girl and leave me and the kids. I wake up sad and depressed. I trust him but I am so jealous after having our last child. I was in great shape before I got pregnant and felt so good about myself but now I feel fat and ugly. I have no energy to take care of the kids, the dogs, the house, do school work and make food. I wish I had time to work out and get ready everyday but I don't.
