I didn't change my name with my first marriage. I think I'm OK with taking my fiance's last name, but it bothers me that his ex-wife had it first. Like I'm being collected and branded.

I just had to email one of the guests who replied that he was coming with an uninvited guest. He's been pretty understanding so far, but I don't think he'll want to come without a guest since his ex-wife will be there with her new husband. OY!

FH and I are going to his home town next month for a party welcoming his brother home from abroad.After that party his mom is throwing me a bridal shower in the evening. All is fantastic right? Wrong! FH's ex-wife is coming to the welcome home party with her new husband and month old baby. WTF?! Way to welcome me into the family. FH thinks I'm being irrational, because she "has always been part of the family". I have nothing against her, but do I really have to be with his ex-wife on the same day as my bridal shower?! Ugh flying 2000 miles for that aggravation. Money wasted.

My fiance has 3 children and has had a vasectomy. Hes an amazing man and Ive never wanted children before.... but recently I think Id like one in the future. It makes me sad his unfaithful, thieving, dishonest ex-wife has an abundance of beautiful children that she only seems to complain about.
