I called my mum to tell her I'm engaged, and she yelled at me coz it means I'll miss my sister's birthday party. You know what? I'm too excited to let her favouritism spoil things. I'm engaged and its awesome and if you don't like it, get lost!

really??? you want to have your 1 yr old kids birthday party the day after our wedding??? we dont want him to be forgotten about either, but wouldnt the weekend before or after the wedding just be better for everyone?? oh yeah, and yes we will sing happy birthday to him at the reception too, since you 'asked' sooo nicely...

So DS2 has his birthday party tomorrow, and we are catering and entertaining the magic number of 30. -_- My Lord, I'm beyond stressed and I still have to bake 2 cakes this evening and pick out decorations. Wish me luck!

I'm dreading the holidays with the FILs. FSIL's husband drives me nuts with the way he treats his kids. Last week at his kid's birthday party, he said "stop being stupid" to his 9 year old. He looses his patients with the children so easily. Makes me wonder how they will grow up.

I had lunch with FH today and it was great. He brought me flowers again, lilies this time which are my favorite. He was a true gentlemen and held the door open for me and pulled my chair. We started talking again as if we'd never stopped. I feel really comfortable around him something i've never felt around any guy before. We started talking about the more serious topics like kids and topics. We both want kids eventually but have opposing views on some poltical issue which is good. We'd be too alike if we didn't. He's taking me to one of his friends birthday party on Saturday so i'll be back

Dear FSIL: I am TIRED of hearing about your wedding EVERY SINGLE DAY. Your wedding is over a year away. WHY do you have to make every family gathering, birthday party, etc about you and your wedding. We go to sit down for a nice meal and you drag out your wedding planning binder...seriously?? GET OVER YOURSELF
