My friend's 2 kids had horrible reactions after their 1st mmr. So bad that their doc said they couldnt handle any more vaccines as children, wait for them to grow up. They got a letter excusing them from vaccines for school. Now they've moved to illinois & teh state wont accept the letters, insisting they get vaccinated or they must leave school. They told her if there are repercussions to the shots she cojld file for 'help' from the state after the fact. What.the.fuck.

What the actual fuck. I've had mild acne since I began my period at 13. I have now passed my 25th birthday. Looks like before I turn 30, instead of having my acne just go away, I'll be getting Accutane instead. Hopefully after grad school!

I'm having a hard time losing the 10lbs I gained since starting grad school last summer. I exercise 6 days a week and barely indulge in sweets but i still can't get rid of the extra 10lbs. :(

I'm 5'3 and 160lbs and I get hit on regularly by students and parents at the school where I'm a teacher. I never flirt back but I'm telling you looking like a model isn't the only way to be attractive.

I'm a big believer in the sweat-it-out school of hangover recovery. Unfortunately, while my preference is for 3+ mile runs for that, last week was my first week of Insanity, and I *really* need to rest. Only about 2 miles this morning. Good, but longer would have been better.

Enrolled DS in Kindergarten, school is about a mile away, so we plan on walking. My best friend says she's so happy-she;d always wanted to do it for her kids. My mom? You'll have to get up earlier. What will you do with your 3yo? (Stroller-DUH) I finally said-Hey how about way to go! You are going to get some great exercise! Jesus-she even finds excuses for other people not to exercise!!!

Can't wait for the outdoor summer concerts! I love all types of music, but my fave concerts are the 80's hairbands, because that music reminds me of my high school days plus it makes for the best people watching (mullets and mesh half-shirts, anyone?). And the security doesnt mind us discreetly smoking a J and rocking out. WooHoo!

God I hate the summertime! Bugs, heat, humidity, doesnt get dark til 9, no school, swimsuit season, need I say more? Already ready for the autumn :)

went to a dr. office, and he was so rude and unprofessional. i asked him what a hemroid looks like becasue i though i might have one. he laughed. his response a hemroid looks like a hemroid. im glad all those years of medical school have went to waste...idiot. and his front desk personnell are no better. they arent helpful. act like you ar bothering them when you come in for an appt they dont smile or greet you. then when you ask questions they act as if you are interrupting them. wth. this internal medicine office is in orlando florida at the corner of john young parkway & conroy

I teach middle school students. Right now, they are learning about nutrition - specifically how horrible processed food and fast food is for them. The message is sinking in - one of the moms told me her kid is now determined to watch his fat gram and sodium intake, and never wants to eat McDonald's again. I call this one a victory. That shit will kill you, no matter how often you eat it.
