Ok. Just made my training plan for Marine Corps Marathon. Just ran a half marathon on Sunday, so now it's recovery and maintenance until May/June, when I'll start kicking up the mileage. I WILL stick to it, I WILL use it as stress release while DH is deployed, and I WILL run MCM in October with my best girlfriends. I WILL run my first full marathon this year.

I'm dealing with piriformis syndrome that makes my whole right leg ACHE like crazy when I run (and very occasionally give out when I randomly step down wrong while walking down the hallway). Went out and bought some tennis balls last night to roll around on and my butt is thanking me now. Ahhhhh. Works well to massage my aching feet, too. (No, it's not my shoes, they're practically brand new)

My best friend and I registered for our first marathons today!! Marine Corps Marathon, here we come :)

Got up at 5 am to run 8 miles this morning... after my post-run shower, I proceeded to sleep most of the day. I hope I can sleep tonight!

Ok, ladies. My wedding dress fitting is now less than a month out, and I STILL haven't lost those 10 lbs. HELP!!! Currently 5'7", 135 lbs, would like to be 127 lbs or less by then... I've been doing spinning twice a week for an hour plus running 10-12 miles a week, although I NEED to bump that up and get more shorter runs in to supplement my weekly long runs (training for my first marathon!)

We have a best man! And maybe the other groomsman, too! I'm happy with his choices :)

Found and bought my wedding dress exactly 5 months out from the wedding. It's B-E-A-Utiful! :)

So much to do, so little time... only 3 1/2 months to go. But real life has to take precedence. I wish my mom could come down for a few days again. We got SO much done when she came to visit last time.

I passed my big huge exam!!! Time to celebrate! Just wish FH was home to celebrate with me. We'll have to do our own special celebration when he comes home from drill.

Can I just say how much I hate teaching undergrads and can't wait for this semester to be over? It frustrates me that this is a requirement for my degree and I really hope I don't ever have to do this again.
