My hangover today is NOTHING close to what it should be....2009's last gift to me??

I spend thousands on make-up a year. I get botox and in office microderm on a regular schedule. I get 175 haircuts every six weeks. I use 150 dollar RX wrinkle cream. I do all of this....BUT... I wear gym capris and a hoodie EVERY DAY. I am not your average "high mant. women" I have a job that allows me to do this and I am little on the heavy side. I wish I could get/care as much about the rest of me to shape up my wardrobe. Oh and P.S I am 25 so no one has any idea the "preventative"lenghts I am taking...

I took my clear skin (with no effort) for granted. I woke up on my 25th birthday with a blimish and it has not stopped since (almost a year) I started yet *another* system last week (this one RX) It seems to be working better than anything so far. I have never gone a day in public without make-up. If I get this undercontrol I will never feel I have to hide behind my make-up always.

nothing says motivation like a new roomate who recently lost 50lbs. She looks fantastic and I am still heavy (just about the same as she used to be) seeign her everyday will give me the will power to stay on track! I'll take any help i can get at this point even if it is feeling like ass for being the fat one for a while.

I was just asked to be a reader in the catholic wedding of a friend. I am a "non-believer" but I am so happy she is including me in her day and even MORE happy that I dont have to wear a BM dress! She knows I hate to be a BM and I think it is very thoughtful of her to include me in a non-BM role. Plus she knows I love public speaking. I am really looking forward to the wedding...I just hope I don't burst into flames up there ;)

My mother is making an appointment..she thinks she found a lump... I am so numb I can't even let my self think past it. I have been waiting for the bottom to drop out from under me for years....this can't be it!!!!!!!!!!!!

My 'clock' has started ticking again. This time louder than ever.......where the hell is that snooze button!!!!!!!!!!!

My former business partner (ended very badly a few years ago. I still run the business we started together) delivered her babay ar 7 mo two days ago. The baby girl only lived one hour. I have had many friends call "just let me know" they will attending or sending flowers to the visitation "I hope you are not mad" Why on earth would these women think that I would be upset they are showing their friend compassion!? We had our problems but I would NEVER wish or hope something terrible on her. I dont carry grudges and until today have not thought of her in a couple of years.

My roomate and I were talking about sex last night. My First 'everything' was with my first love from high school. She looked at me funny when I said that and then replied with "Well, not really your first" When I asked her what she ment she told me stories of as young as 1st grade boys in her classes or older step brothers friends touching her. I was shocked but the part that really got me was that she was JUST as shocked that it never happened to me. She really thought it happened to everyone!!! I am at a loss.

Last night a friend of a friend from college can back to town for a visit. We were part of the same group as a whole but never really one-on-one friends. He told me that I was the first person he ever told/said aloud he was gay. I remember the convo. It went something like Me-"You could have anyone in this bar" Him-" I want that guy (a man who was "out")" Me-"Oooh he is cute. Go for it!" He said that my reaction to his comment (or rather lack of) was the moment he realized it was going to be ok. :) I am VERY proud that I was there for that moment and helped in his life.

I saw the most beautiful man at the famers market this morning. He was there selling meat with his family farm (he was not jailbait) He was wearing a sraw cawboy hat and a plain white T. He was the twin of the man I picture evertime I hear a country song (i.e. I'm a little more counrty than that, Big green tractor) I can wait to go back next week :)

A close friend of mine called me Sat afternoon and confessed that for the last five years her reationship has been abusive. More mental and emotional then physical (the reason I didn't see it). I feel terrible that she has been living all these years scared and I didn't help her. I dove the hour to her house packed her as many things as a I could and brought her home with me. I plan on returning next weekend to get the rest. She is my new roomate and neither of us are ever looking back.

Update on the new roomate: My house is much cheaper than where she was living (think ALL bills her will equal her half of her old rent) Since we are both good savers and already have saving plans we are going to use the 400+ we are going save each month to travel!!!!!! I am so excited we are young and single and goingto live this life for all we can!
