My husband can spend money on hunting gear, fishing gear, business lunches, new toys, property... etc. I buy a 5 dollar graphic tee and he hits the roof.

I wish I liked my H's family better. Seriously I do. They are (save one brother and SIL) secretive, smug and just plain weird. Sigh. I will continue to focus on the two I think wish us well.

I experienced a lot of death growing up. My parents made me go to all kinds of funerals - their friends, relatives, some I knew and some I didn't. I used to be resentful, i.e., what kind of place is a funeral for a child? But now I think it may have prepared me to handle and understand death as an adult.

I think when you get married it should be ok for you to hook up with anyone you've hooked up with in the past, no one new. I think that's safe. If you were meant to be you would've been so I think it makes sense.
