Yes, MIL. DD's shoes cost "that much" ($19.99). You didn't spend a a dime, so keep your trap shut. I'm frugal and all, but you're ridiculous. Cheaper isn't always better, and it doesn't hurt to invest a little more to get better quality products. Buying the cheapest has gotten you where, exactly? Constantly needing to fix things because they were worn down when you already bought them used, irritated skin from certain products, and poor health from eating cheap convenience foods. Stay out of our checkbook.
