My husband was in the military, and it was not a good fit for him. He enjoyed it for a while, but he was really happy to get out and be a civilian again. I, on the other hand, am a perfect fit for the military. I love the structure, I love the sense of duty, I love the uniform, and don't get me started on how much I love PT! So, my DH is the military spouse, and I wear the ranks in this house. It works for us.
