I have a "friend" that I've known for a long time. We got stationed in another state but she came to visit, and spent the whole time insulting me. Each time she did I would get pissed for a moment and let it go, thinking that there was no possible way she really meant it that way. But the more I think about it, and the more I talk about it with DH, I know she meant everything exactly how she said it.
