Confessions in Session Showing 31 - 40 of 25936
My story: We were having a few drinks and laying in bed in our underwear. He said he wanted to draw the tattoo I was going to get on my back so I could see what it would look like. After he was done he told me to look in the mirror.I took a quick glance&saw he had written "Will you marry me" (backwards so I could read it in the mirror). I turned around and he was on his knees with the ring. I said yes and jumped on him promptly
My ex husband and I had a 3 year engagement, the big church wedding, spent way too much money, and all I got out of it was 6 months to figure out that he'd been cheating the whole time.
The divorce was quick and painless, but now I look back and see just how much "for show" a big wedding is.
Yes, I AM a vegetarian. No, I do not refuse to cook meat for him. I don't say anything to you when you bike everywhere and then your dh climbs into his Hummer. I am NOT a hypocrite. I just believe in PERSONAL choice. He did not choose this and I will not force him to eat things he doesn't like. Wth, why am I explaining this? Stay out of my kitchen!
It's 47 days before my wedding and one of my teeth started breaking off a couple weeks ago. We have absolutely no money for dental visits right now and I don't have any insurance so it would be expensive. Its off to the side a little but this missing tooth can be seen if I smile big like I would for pictures. My family lives in another state and hasn't seen me in two years but I know they'll say something terrible when they notice. I just want to be able to smile for my wedding pictures.
This is how my DH proposed: He was sitting on the computer since xmas was close and he wanted to order presents. I was watching TV. He turned the laptop screen to me and there was pictures of 2 engagement rings..he asked "which one do you like better?". UPS delivered it, and I put it on. few weeks later at a restaurant I expressed how sad I was about not being proposed to. He took it off my finger and asked then. *sigh*
Look damn it: my mom's walking me down the aisle. Not my estranged father, not my big brother, not one of my uncles nor any other man you suggest. She raised me, so she gets the honor of giving me away. Thank you and good night.
