am I the only one who thinks these choreographed dance are completely cheesy? Hell, I didn't even want a 'first dance' at all at my wedding (did anyway, much to my dismay). Maybe I'm just old.

I think if you find the right person to marry, marriage isn´t a terrible thing. The hard part is to actually FIND that right person.

Yesterday, I watched this British show called "Celebrity Four Weddings", and OMG! Was that a train wreck to watch or what?! lol! It´s bad enough when it´s "regular" people judging each others weddings, but this! Geeze. lol!

Don't have kids. Just don't.

A few years back my future MIL turned up at my house with a flower girl dress for my daughter and said "you have one year to get married while this still fits her!" I wasn't even engaged! and now that I am engaged (years later), I feel like I can't do it, and partly because she told me I had to. Which I realize is really messed up on my part since I should be able to get over that. Just feels like I'm not in control of my own life.

4 short years ago, I was celebrating with my best guy friend on his wedding day that put his (and her)family into sizable debt. She was unfaithful, and his divorce was finalized 3 days ago. Damn that! When I tie the knot, I'm keeping it courthouse chic and throwing a blowout bash when we hit the 10-year milestone to celebrate the longevity we've earned. No disrespect to big weddings, but I'm not willing to risk it.

I'm going to my good friend's bachelorette party in New Orleans next month. Can't wait..just curious how wild it will get.

I don't know what to do with my wedding dress. (It is packed up in a box in my closet.) I am not having kids, so it won't be "passed on". And I doubt that I would ever wear it again, even if I dyed it a different color, because I just don't have any need for a formal gown in my life. Any ideas? I don't want to get rid of it, but am not sure that I can justify keeping it. Help!

A relative is engaged to a man eight years her junior. Her aunt divorced a man eight years her junior when we were kids. I hope her story ends better.

The best advice I got before my wedding: Nobody likes a drunk bride. Save the drinking for your honeymoon.

It cracks me up when Say Yes to the Dress brides spend $8000 on a dress and then end up getting married in a small venue like an American Legion hall. Makes me think they probably aren't making good decisions in many other areas of their life.
