Thanks, everyone, for your patience and feedback. We have made the decision to take the confessions off of LIVE mode so that we can reassess the logistics of the "remove" feature. We plan to resume LIVE confessions on Monday, and we will explain then how we'll be moving forward. We will repost appropriate confessions from today later this afternoon.

UPDATE 2:30pm
We are aware of the situation with the handful of women who have unfortunately chosen to abuse the LIVE confessional to make a statement about this site. We will find a way to address their behavior as soon as we can. In the meantime, we want to thank all of the women who love this site and would like to be able to see their confessions posted in real time. If you have left an appropriate confession today, it will be reposted. As you know, we have made several attempts to go LIVE over the last year, and there are always a few users who decide to hijack the confessional and be disruptive when we give the community this privilege. We are disappointed by their immaturity, but remain committed to those of you who understand that this is a constructive place to vent and leave confessions - not a forum, discussion board, or social network. We offer a forum, comments feature, and site administrator contact information (talk@truuconfessions.com) for you to use if your post is not a confession. Please direct your post to the appropriate outlet.
There has always been a "remove" button in the confessional so that the community could police itself; it is now more prominent. We encourage you to use the button with respect and discretion, and on our end we will address the best way to incorporate it in the site going forward. We want you to be able to get your daily dose of confessions instantly, so we’ve implemented a new moderation policy that will allow posts to go LIVE from 9am – 9pm PST and on weekends. We hope this will make confessing more fun and rewarding for our community! Here’s what is happening:
We want you to be able to set the tone of the confessional, so we’ve given you a new tool bar where you can do more with each post. You’ve always been able to “me too,” but now you also have options to “remove” a post that breaks our rules policy, “omg” a post that makes you laugh or shocks you, “fave” a post that you’d like to see in our “Most Popular” tab or featured confessions, and “share” the posts you really like with others in your online network.
Additionally, we’ve assembled a team of you to help us moderate confessions using the new “remove” feature. After our call for new moderators, we interviewed and discussed our moderation strategy with dozens of women who read the site to get feedback about which kinds of posts should or should not be approved. We’re thrilled to be working with ten of you to keep the confessional fair and supportive.
Our new moderators will be flagging any posts that:
* are not really confessions, but comments or site administration concerns that should be directed to talk@truuconfessions.com.
* are abusive, vicious, condescending or sexually graphic.
* express the desire for negative things, such as death, to happen to another person.
* are really meant to be advertisements for other sites or businesses.
* detail harmful and/or illegal activities.
* are directed at Truu moderators or staff.
