Q: MODS: Confession 84143 appears to be a response to #DELETED.
A: Thanks for the heads up! It’s been removed.
Q:Wtf is up with all the response posts lately? I thought the mods were there to stop that crap. I always flag response posts but I guess that isn't good enough. I guess if you are overweight, its ok to bash thin people who post about being thin.
A: I haven’t seen a single post flagged in over a week. Which is odd. Turns out, now I? only see the flag if it’s been flagged enough to be removed. Sorry :( I’m really not cool with people bashing, regardless of weight.
Q:MODS; don´t you think confession DELETED about SOMETHINGDELETED being awesome isn´t something that shouldn´t be confessed about? I know the confessor said she/he has quit, but still. It´s a THINGDELETED.
A: I actually struggled with that. But in the end it wasn’t actually against the rules. Had the confessor said they were actively doing that, or provided a lot of detail I could block it, but as is it was just a confession.

A: Ack! I’m sorry, I’ve really dropped the ball this week. But at least I know what my New Years Resolution is.
Q:MODS, I think confession 61140- about BF´s mother might be a response post to what USERDELETED has been confessing. I know she assumes it too.

Q:MODS: how long are you online reading confessions before you push them through? And for example there are 100confs waiting on Mom, do you only push through 50? Thanks for your work.
A: You’re welcome :D The confessions are grouped together in pages of thirty. So we go to each channel, and click through the pages until we reach the last published confession, and then go page by page, publishing in increments of thirty. I always publish up to the very last confession to go through, so if you’re online while I’m doing an update (which you’ll know if the confessions you’re reading keep repeating every few pages. They aren’t always duplicates. Most of the time it’s that page 2 just became page 4 after the update.) Then you’re reading the very latest. We don’t have a limit of how many we let through. They all go through.
Q:I love posting about being happily cf. I never attack parents or children in my posts. I always get a HUGE kick out the response posts (which of course are not allowed, right mods?) that say "yeah well my life with kids is great and blahblahblah!" Makes me smile every damn time.
A: See, it depends on how it’s phrased. If some random person posts “I love having children. They’re the light of my life.” I’m not going to assume it’s a response to someone who doesn’t have children. However if they post “I don’t see how that poster survives day to day in the dark and endless abyss of a child free life,” then that would be a response and it shouldn’t go through.
To clarify, I don’t think the child free life is a dark and endless abyss.
Q:Mods, please let this one through. I really need advice. What is the proper division of housework when one person (me) works full-time and studies part-time, and the other (LIB) is unemployed but still contributes financially with his EI payments? He thinks because he's still bringing in income, we should split chores 50-50. I think he should take way more than that because he's home all day. We are constantly fighting about this and I need objective input. Please.

Q:MODS : In the confession box, is there a way TRUU could put a character counter (or a count down) on it so we know when we're going to hit our character limit? It'd help a lot if there was.
A: Great idea! I’ll send that right along to Romi.
Q: Mods: I have a Salvation Army post removed on 12/24 regarding deliberately avoiding stores with SA outside because of their stance onLBGTQ hires. Why?
A: Enough people must have flagged it to have it removed. I’m having a hard time seeing flags in the back end lately, so I can’t always fix what’s been removed.
Q: Mods: I want to know why my posts about Jesus Christ being the entire reason for Chirstmas don't get posted yet the posts about being an athiest and there being no Jesus do? My posts were in no way offensive and violated no rules. I have however seen numerous posts that do.
A: Type Jesus in the search box and you’ll see pages of Jesus is the reason for the season posts. Ditto for Jesus isn’t the reason for the season. Both types of posts have had plenty get through, and after awhile they all seem like responses to each other, not to mention they all say the exact same thing. As for the plenty of posts that are violating the rules getting through, tell me what they are and I’ll remove them.
Q: Hey Mods: How does one scroll through editor's picks?
A: Just look at the top of the page for each channel. Unfortunately there isn’t a way to look at old editors picks :(
Q: MODS: I tried to fill out a contact us form to ask about this and got no reply. Why wasn't my confession about eating Chinese food on xmas posted?
A: I think just because it mentioned a race. Try it again and it should go through. We had a LOT going on in the back end race wise that week, so I’m sorry if we got a little over zealous.
